ABOUT ME

The 2019-2020 school year wil be my 8th year at Mater Dei Catholic School. Previous to that, for two years, I taught the computer classes at St. Stanislaus. Teaching computer classes in elementary schools started at St. John Bosco School in Hatboro in 1992 as a volunteer for my two children's classes. Happily, in September 1999, I became a part-time computer teacher of grades Pre-K4 through 6. In 2000, I began a full-time position at the school, teaching Pre-K3 through Eighth grades.
My professional experiences prior to 1992 include: First Grade Teacher, Computer Operator, Computer Operations Trainer, Microcomputer Salesperson, Computer Business System Requirements Analyst, Trainer for Corporate Trust Accounting Systems. These experiences have supported the knowledge needed to coordinate teaching and infrastructure needs for Mater Dei.
Other life experiences are those from being a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a wife and mom of 2 girls.
Educationally, I have completed and given many formal and informal training courses: Psychology/Education Major, Bachelor of Arts, Pennsylvania Certification Birth to Grade 3, Pennsylvania Continuing Education Compliant, Training for Mini, PC, and Tablet Computers, and Software Training for Business and Education, Sales Training.
Finally, and importantly, I enjoy being part of your children's lives when they come to the computer lab as well as in the halls of Mater Dei Catholic School.

Seek Jesus in Others
"Seek Jesus in Others" is our focus for the new year. The creation story teaches us that God did not intend for us to live in isolation, but more importantly, we are made for each other. "Seeking Jesus in Others" reminds us to find the good in one another and to validate each person's dignity. By focusing on our relationships with one another, we will continue to create a sense of belongingness for all community members to mirror our hallmarks of Faith, Excellence, Service, and Community.
