Pre-Kindergarten Program

Mater Dei Catholic School offers a Pre-School Program for three and four-year olds.  Our commitment is to bring Jesus to the minds and hearts of the children entrusted to us while encouraging socialization, creativity and experimentation. A hands-on approach to learning is stressed.

Children entering the 3-year old program must be age 3 by September 1st.
Children entering the 4-year old program must be age 4 by September 1st.

The Mater Dei Catholic School Kindergarten program integrates our Catholic faith and skills needed to be a successful learner.

Kindergarten students also spend a class period with the Music, Gym, Art, Technology, and Spanish teachers on a weekly basis.

Mater Dei Catholic School complies with the philosophy and guidelines of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regarding content and format of curriculum.  The foundation of the educational program is based on the Rigor and Relevance Framework which provides a means of designing effective curriculum, measuring individual learners’ progress and ultimately delivering a more meaningful educational experience to the student.
