ABOUT ME
In 2021 I joined Mater Dei Catholic School assisting in the middle school Learning Resource Room. It allowed me to use my skill set and be near my own children who attend Mater Dei. I have a Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University and have worked one-on-one with students and in small group classrooms. Before coming to Mater Dei, I was an itinerant teacher in the Archdiocese of Chicago. I also taught a Project Based Learning class at a small private school in the Chicago area. I am excited to be joining the 7th and 8th grade team and teaching the students that I have gotten to know in the last four years.
I have two children, and as a family we participate in many Mater Dei CYO sports. You may see me out on the fields coaching some of our younger athletes in track, or cheering on the older athletes. If I am not volunteering, coaching, or teaching, I am likely on a trip to a warm destination, or to Chicago to cheer on the Cubs! But after almost 6 years here, I'm starting to turn into a Phillies fan!
