The Mater Dei Home and School Association is an organization intended to provide teachers and parents with opportunities to learn how to become more effective in their roles. As the name of the organization suggests, it brings together the two most important influences in a child’s life: the home and the school. The main focus of the Home & School Association is to enrich the lives of our families and enhance the students’ school experience through social and fundraising events.

At Mater Dei Catholic, we embrace this call to be peacemakers. Pope Leo’s message speaks to everyone, but especially to our children, who are growing into the people God created them to be. When peace lives in our hearts, it flows into our words, our choices, and our relationships.

When every heart becomes a home for peace, then our school, our homes, and our entire community can become places of kindness, forgiveness, justice, and joy. Pope Leo is calling us to be different—to build peace through the way we live, speak, and treat one another each day.
