   Look What We Are Learning This Week...April 15th

Religion: We will learn that we are members of the Church, the family of God. 
Math:  We will finish chapter 10 ...Identifying Three Deminenstional Shapes. We will have a chapter assessment.
ELA:.  We will work on phoneme blending. We will learn the letter "Jj."  We will learn the  high frequency word, "they."  We will talk about the main idea in a story.  We will learn robust vocabulary. Our decodable books are  A Big Mess  and Van in a Jam.  Our literature is Everybody Works and Zara's Hats. 
Science/Social Studies:We will learn about flowers and plants. 


Monday: Gym
Thursday: Art/Computers
Friday: Music

  • There will be no school on Thursday, April 18th, Friday, April 19th, and Monday, April 22nd
  • We will be having an Easter Party on Thursday, April 25th. If everyone could bring in 6 filled plastic eggs by Tuesday, April 23. You can put  in a small piece of candy, sticker, or a small eraser in the eggs. There is no need to bring in a snack on that Thursday. Thanks!!
  • In our seventh year, we are energized by the recognition as a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  We invite you to honor this special occasion through our TitleWish Initiative, which will allow us to fill our media center with high-quality educational resources and books that will provide even more academic opportunities for our students. Welcome to K3! My name is Mrs. Susan Fry, and I am thrilled to be your child's Kindergarten teacher at Mater Dei Catholic School. I am a graduate from Cabrini College where I received a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I taught eight years at Saint Mary's School in Schwenskville as a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Mater Dei for four years. I have three children that keep my husband and me busy. My oldest son, Brendan is a sophomore at La Salle College High School. Aidan is in eighth grade and Caitlin is in fifth grade at Mater Dei. I am very happy to be teaching at Mater Dei. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year! It will be a fun and exciting experience for your child.
