   Look What We Are Learning This Week...February 25th

Religion: We will learn that Jesus is our teacher and helper.
Math: We will finish  Chapter 7, Represent, Count, and Write 11 to 19. We will have a chapter assessment. We will start chapter 8,Represent, Count and Write 20 and Beyond. 
ELA:.  We will learn the final  sounds in words. We will learn the letter "H"   We will learn the high frequency words, "one" and "see."  We will learn to identify the setting  in a story. We will learn robust vocabulary. Our decodable books are  Pal Has Ham and Bob Hid It .  Our literature is Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo and Snowman at Night
Science/Social Studies:We will learn about  Black History Month.



Monday: Gym
Thursday: Art/Computers
Friday: Music


Weekly Homework


  • Pre-K and Kindergarten Event on Tuesday, February 26th 6:30-7:30.  RSVP is needed. A flyer was sent home.
  • Please remember if there ever is a change in transportation, write me a note that morning and place in folder.
  • If your daughter will be attending Pep Squad every Monday, I will need a note each week telling me that they have permission and transportation will be different.

Welcome to K3! My name is Mrs. Susan Fry, and I am thrilled to be your child's Kindergarten teacher at Mater Dei Catholic School. I am a graduate from Cabrini College where I received a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I taught eight years at Saint Mary's School in Schwenskville as a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Mater Dei for four years. I have three children that keep my husband and me busy. My oldest son, Brendan is a sophomore at La Salle College High School. Aidan is in eighth grade and Caitlin is in fifth grade at Mater Dei. I am very happy to be teaching at Mater Dei. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year! It will be a fun and exciting experience for your child.
