Welcome 7th and 8th graders!

My name is Marleena Detweiler and I am so excited to be entering into my first year teaching 7th and 8th grade at Mater Dei. This is my first year in Catholic Education and I could not be more excited to come back to my alma mater, Mater Dei. Catholic education is extremely important to me as I have attended catholic grade school (Saint Maria Goretti and Mater Dei) and highschool (Lansdale Catholic). I am so grateful to continue to be a part of catholic education as a teacher. This year I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and 7th grade Religion. My goal this year is to create a supportive learning environment where students feels supported, valued, challenged and inspired.
