Mrs. Margie Bauder
Classroom Pre-K 3C

Welcome to the Mater Dei Preschool Program! The purpose of our program is to provide a positive early educational experience for your child. The program offers each child activities which address his/her total needs: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Our commitment is to bring Jesus to the hearts of the children entrusted in our care. We will strive to provide a loving and safe environment that encourages socialization, creativity, experimentation, and 21st century learning. A "hands on" approach to learning is stressed.

Important Dates:

  • 1/3 - Classes resume
  • 1/20 - No school
  • 1/21 - Home and School Meeting  7:00
  • 1/26 - 1/31  Catholic Schools Week

  • Our monthly newsletter has been updated!
  • I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! Mrs. Miles and I are so very grateful for all of the wonderful Christmas gifts. Thank you so much for your generosity!!
  • *IMPORTANT* In the event of a two hour delay, the drop off car line will begin at 10:10am. We do not eat snack on 2 hour delay days. If your child is a half day student, they are very welcome to come to school, however our regular pick up time of 12:15 stays the same. Thank you!
  • Mater Dei Catholic School will be collecting new or gently used children's winter coats! This collection aims to support Cradles to Crayons, a foundation that supplies winter essentials to Philadelphian children living in poverty. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
  • Please be sure that your child is wearing sneakers to school each day. The children can easily slip on the equipment when they are wearing boots, etc... therefore when they do not wear sneakers, we cannot allow them to climb. Thank you for your cooperation!

My name is Margie Bauder. I am so happy to be starting my fourth year teaching preschool at Mater Dei Catholic School. I am proud to say that I have a long history with Saint Stanislaus/Mater Dei Catholic school. I, along with my six children, are all SS/MD alumni! I continued my education at Montgomery County Community College and Gwynedd Mercy College earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. My goal as an Early Childhood educator is to develop a love of learning and a positive preschool experience for every child in my care and I am looking forward to an awesome year!
