ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to K1! I am Mrs. Mazeroski, or "Mrs. Maz" as they call me. I am thrilled to be your child's Kindergarten teacher! I received my Bachelor’s Degree at West Chester University and then my Master’s Degree at Holy Family University. I taught for seven years in Central Bucks School District before starting a family.  I then made the decision to stay home with our young children and discovered Mater Dei Catholic School as a parent. I enjoyed volunteering and getting to know our wonderful Mater Dei community through my own children. I returned to the teaching profession in 2018 part time when Mater Dei opened the "Imagination Playhouse" program for toddlers, moved to Second Grade shortly after, and now this is my second year teaching Kindergarten.  My husband and I have four children; a sophomore at The University of Scranton, a sophomore and senior at Lansdale Catholic, and an 8th grader here at Mater Dei. We also have three dogs that keep life interesting. I love to spend time with my family and you can usually find us on the sports field or in the car driving someone somewhere.  I am very excited to begin this learning journey with your child. My goal is to create a warm and nurturing environment in which your child can feel safe to explore, grow, and love learning. Please know I am here to support you and your child in any way I can. Get ready for a wonderful year ahead!

"Peace is Built in the Heart"

Pope Leo XIV’s words remind us of a powerful truth: peace doesn’t start in the world around us—it begins within each of us. It is shaped by love, nourished by prayer, and strengthened by our desire to live as Jesus taught.

At Mater Dei Catholic School, we embrace this call to be peacemakers. Pope Leo’s message speaks to everyone, but especially to our children, who are growing into the people God created them to be. When peace lives in our hearts, it flows into our words, our choices, and our relationships.

When every heart becomes a home for peace, then our school, our homes, and our entire community can become places of kindness, forgiveness, justice, and joy. Pope Leo is calling us to be different—to build peace through the way we live, speak, and treat one another each day.

This year, let us journey together as builders of peace—rooted in God’s love, guided by His truth, and strengthened by His mercy.
