Welcome to Mater Dei Catholic Preschool Program! The purpose of our program is to provide a positive early educational experience for your child. The program offers each child activities which address his/her total needs: physical, emotional intellectual, and spiritual. Our commitment is to bring Jesus to the hearts of the children entrusted to our care. We will strive to provide a loving and safe environment that encourages socialization, creativity, experimentation and 21st century learning. A "hands on" approach to learning is stressed.

  • Please be sure to sign your child up for Vacation Bible School at Mater Dei! I will be teaching the Preschool group, and I am looking forward to a really fun week!
  • With the weather starting to get warmer we will be going out to the playground as often as possible. Please make sure your child is wearing sneakers everyday. I can not let the climb on the equipment without sneakers for safety reasons.
  •  In our seventh year, we are energized by the recognition as a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  We invite you to honor this special occasion through our TitleWish Initiative, which will allow us to fill our media center with high-quality educational resources and books that will provide even more academic opportunities for our students. Please help us reach our goal of $2500.00 by clicking on the link below before May 3rd.  Each donation will be acknowledged with a special bookplate inside all of the newly purchased materials. Thank you for your help in allowing us to provide the best education for all of the students at Mater Dei Catholic School where we celebrate Faith, Excellence, Service, and Community every day! https://www.titlewish.com/1092436
  •  I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Thank you for the cards, candy and gifts. They were truly appreciated. This week we will continue to learn about life cycles in our Religion Theme: God Made Butterflies and our Literacy Theme: Everything Changes. We will be reading lots of books about the life cycle of a caterpiller as it goes through several changes to become a butterfly.  I ordered real caterpillars so we will be observing the caterpillars change into butterflies. We will let the butterflies go in May. This week we will meet Ms. E with her exercise engery. We will discuss how important it is to keep our bodies moving.  Have a great week!!!
  • You can help your child by reviewing the letters S, P, T,O, X, Y, W, F, A Z, B, M. R, C Q, J, H, I, G and E. Please remember to start all letters at the top.  We have been working on printing first names in all capital letters. The children are ready to move on printing their names in capital and lower case. so we will begin trying to go to lower case letters. The children have been doing a wonderful job but they could always use the practice.  Thank you for the gift of your child and the sacrafices you make to send your child to a Catholic School!  Enjoy your week!!!
