Hello and Welcome to Learning Resource Room 5-8! I am so blessed to be a part of your child's education and a part of the Mater Dei family again this year! My undergraduate degrees are from Holy Family University in Special Education and Elementary Education. I went on to receive my Masters in Reading at Temple University. I am certified in Wilson Reading as well. I have taught many years in the Public School system and most recently here at Mater Dei. My husband and I are members of "Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish" in Doylestown and have three sons ages 18,14, 9 and a daughter age 11. We also have a labrador named Scarlett who loves to play fetch. My children keep me busy on the weekends as a spectator of soccer, football and cheerleading. I volunteer my time as a coach for my daughter's cheer squad. When not participating in those activities, I like to read, relax on the beach, swim, watch Philadelphia sports and visit my first year student at Penn State University. I firmly believe that every child can learn through differentiated instruction and myself along with my assistant will work hard to provide that. I look forward to seeing all of you again. Praying for another amazing year!
