ABOUT ME
Welcome to 5B!
I have been teaching at Mater Dei for the last 5 years and I’m very excited to be your new teacher this year. This will be my first year teaching fifth grade and I cannot wait to learn and grow together as a team! I am a graduate of both St. Stanislaus Catholic School and Lansdale Catholic High School. I graduated with my Early Childhood and Special Education degree from Chestnut Hill College in May 2020. I'm currently living in the Chestnut Hill area with my husband of two years. This year, I’m committed to creating a classroom environment where we support each other, take on challenges with confidence, and celebrate our progress together. I can't wait to see what this year holds for us! Here’s to an amazing year of growth, discovery, and teamwork!

"Peace is Built in the Heart"
Pope Leo XIV’s words remind us of a powerful truth: peace doesn’t start in the world around us—it begins within each of us. It is shaped by love, nourished by prayer, and strengthened by our desire to live as Jesus taught.
At Mater Dei Catholic School, we embrace this call to be peacemakers. Pope Leo’s message speaks to everyone, but especially to our children, who are growing into the people God created them to be. When peace lives in our hearts, it flows into our words, our choices, and our relationships.
When every heart becomes a home for peace, then our school, our homes, and our entire community can become places of kindness, forgiveness, justice, and joy. Pope Leo is calling us to be different—to build peace through the way we live, speak, and treat one another each day.
This year, let us journey together as builders of peace—rooted in God’s love, guided by His truth, and strengthened by His mercy.
