Classroom Pre-K 4B

The purpose of our program is to provide a positive early education experience for your children.  The program offers each child activities which address his/her total needs: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.  Our commitment is to bring Jesus to the minds and hearts of the children entrusted to our care.  We will strive to provide a loving and safe environment that encourages socialization, creativity, and experimentation.  A "hands on" approach to learning is stressed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If Mater Dei opens with a delay (1, 2, or 3 hour) half day students are welcome to attend, however dismissal will still be at 12:15.  Also, we do not have snack on mornings we have a delay.

  • Thank you to all who donated and supported Mater Dei's Polar Plunge!  It was a huge success because of our generous families!
  • This week we will be starting a new unit comparing country and city life.  The first theme we will be exploring is "Country Life."  Along with this is our Religion theme, God Made Countries.  We will look at maps, name our country, state, and town, as well as learn that God loves everyone throughout the world.  Letter C makes a visit this week.  Mr C has a Colassal Cap because he is shy and wants to stay covered up.  We're going to see how friendly, kind, and welcoming we can be this week and hope Mr C won't feel so shy after being in PK4B!
  • Please label all cups, lunch boxes, and stuffed animals that come in to the classroom.

Have a wonderful week and stay warm!

ABOUT ME

Welcome to PreK4! My name is Amanda Sitoski and I am the PK4B teacher. I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2002 with my degree in Elementary Education. I spent three great years teaching fourth grade at St Anne School in Bethlehem. My husband's job brought us to the Philadelphia area where I worked in Kindergarten and PreK for several years. After taking some time off with my kids, I was blessed to find Mater Dei!  This is my fourth year at our great school! I live with my family in North Wales. My daughter Lily is 11 and my son Thomas is 9.   We enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. I can't wait to help your child learn and grow on the path to Kindergarten readiness!
