ABOUT ME

I am a proud product of the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Catholic School System. I graduated from St. Jude School in Chalfont and attended Lansdale Catholic High School where I graduated in 1994. I went on to pursue my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education at Gwynedd-Mercy College and graduated in 1998. As you can see, Catholic education is very important to me, and I am forever thankful to my parents for making many sacrifices in order to give me that gift. My teaching career began 23 years ago at St. Stanislaus School, and I am very grateful to be able to continue my love for teaching here at Mater Dei.  Over those 23 years, I have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, second, fourth, and sixth grades. I am also a wife and mother. My husband, John, is as committed to Catholic education as I am. He is also a product of 16 years of Catholic schooling and has been a high school English teacher for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for the past 25 years. He currently teaches English at Archbishop Carroll High School. My daughter, Courtney, is a proud 2016 graduate of Mater Dei Catholic School and will graduate from Temple University this spring with a degree in Nursing.

Seek Jesus in Others
"Seek Jesus in Others" is our focus for the new year. The creation story teaches us that God did not intend for us to live in isolation, but more importantly, we are made for each other. "Seeking Jesus in Others" reminds us to find the good in one another and to validate each person's dignity. By focusing on our relationships with one another, we will continue to create a sense of belongingness for all community members to mirror our hallmarks of Faith, Excellence, Service, and Community.
